Kaylee Tucker raced across the finish line in Lander, Wyoming this past Saturday to claim the individual Region 9 title in the women's division of the region championships. Her time of 25:05.18 was just ahead of Central Wyoming's Isabelle Murdock. Kaylee also qualified for a spot in the NJCAA Nationals to be held on November 8th in Iowa.
The Trojan men finished second as a team behind Southeast CC by a score of 24-35. Trojan Yohaness Birhane ran a 30:41.00 to place second in the race and teammate AnDrew Romancito crossed the line fourth with a time of 31:49.47. Both Trojans were named All-Region and earn a place at the National Meet.
