Joshua Joseph took over as head coach of the cross-country, and track and field programs here at Trinidad State During the Fall semester of 2024. Previously working as a volunteer assistant for the program a handful of years prior. During this time, he played a subtle role in helping to coach the 2023 NJCAA Mens Trinidad Cross Country Championship Team. Joseph graduated from Adams State University with a BA in Sports Psychology in May of 2020, and an MS in Coaching later in the fall of 2022. During his time at Adams State he accomplished many accolades at the NCAA D2 level. Becoming a three time All-American in Cross-Country and Track, as well as contributing to two cross country national championship team titles in 2016 and 2017. Finishing 9th overall in the nation during his 2017 season. Joseph continues to coach and train post collegiately with olympic aspirations for the marathon distance.

Now going into his second year as head coach, Joseph is excited to help further build the program. Leveraging extensive experience in training endurance athletes, leading to top finishes and fostering a positive team culture at Trinidad State College during the 2024-2025 season. With a holistic focus on building relationships and team development, combined with a successful history of competing at a high level in track and cross country at the collegiate and post collegiate level; Makes for an individual willing and ready to mentor and improve the well being of those around him.
